Our story
First light,
shaped in wood.
Aurora is named for the first light of the day — the soft, warm glow that fills a room before the world wakes up. That is the light we set out to make.
Every Aurora piece begins as solid wood, turned on the lathe and finished by hand in our Guwahati workshop until its grain comes alive. We pair each base with natural linen shades, honest brass and nickel fittings, and fabric-wrapped cords, so every lamp is as beautiful switched off as it is switched on.
The result is lighting and décor with the presence of furniture: made to be kept, and made to make a home feel warmer. Because each piece is turned by hand, natural variations in grain and tone make every one unique.
